This item was handmade, primarily out of thrifted materials.
What if I have metal allergies?
Items with new, nickel-free chains and clasps will be labeled as such. Otherwise, you should assume that a piece may contain allergens.
How do you identify the materials?
Sometimes, when I buy things at dedicated craft-supply thrift stores, they are still in their original packaging. I also do my best to identify things visually (by comparing them to bought-new stones, or by looking for stamps identifying the metal in chains) or by using other simple tools like a magnet. Finally, some materials I purchase new to complement what I get at the thrift store. Any components I list on the website I am fairly confident about attributing.
Is it vegan?
Not if it contains coral or pearls, which come from animals.
