A one-off search for a string of real pearls to wear at a choir concert in 2025 turned into a habit of foraging through Central Virginia thrift stores. I recruited pearls, stones, and chains interested in a new life as a piece of business casual wearable propaganda, adding some bought-new components and stamping little letters into them as needed.
